"Tayta Inti and its Creation" - 2005 / acrylic on canvas, 15 x 25 cm
After my baptism by the Aymara Indians into the Amauta /shamen with cosmos knowledge of pre-Inca era community, on the very same spot where Atuhualpa was baptised, I had enough inspiration to paint about their creator Tayta Inti or father Sun.

"Mallku" (The Condor Is Bleeding) - 2005 / acrylic on paper, 50 x 65 cm
This work represents my recent experiences with Bolivian Shamen by whom I was adopted as an amauta in March 2005. Mallku means: spiritual leader of a village or Condor (divine bird). Since I walk around with a heavy Potosi stark red poncho and other indigenous gear, the people in La Paz call me Mallku too.
