If one reduces the whole world population into one village inhabited by 100 citizens, the community would consist of 57 Asians, 21 Europeans, 14 Americans (North-, Central- and Southamerica) and 8 Africans.

There would be 52 women and 48 men, 30 white and 70 non-white, 30 Christians and 70 non-Christians, 89 heterosexuals and 11 homosexuals.

6 people would posess 59% of the wealth and all would come from the USA. 80 would live in poverty, 70 would be uneducated, 50 would suffer of hunger and malnutrition, 1 would die, 1 would be borne, 1 would posess a computer and one would have a high school diploma.

If we look at the world from this point of view, the urge for acceptance and understanding becomes obvious. But consider the following:

If you woke up this morning in best healthyness, you are more lucky than 1 million people which will not survive this week.

If you have never experienced the horror of war, the lonelyness of imprisonment and the pain of torture, and you are not just on the brink of starving to death, you are better on than 500 million people.

If you can practice your religion° without being afraid to be attacked or killed for it, you are more lucky than 3 billion people. If your fridge is filled, you have clothes to wear, a roof above your head and a place to sleep, you are better on then 75% of the world population. °However take into consideration: With religions it may be similar to medicine. - If risks and sideeffects predominate, don't apply it any more.

If you have money on a bank account, cash in your wallet and some coins in your pocket, you are one of 8 privileged amongst 100 people of this world.

If your parents still live and are married yet, you are a very rare individual. If someone sent you a message and recommended to read this, you are very lucky to know someone thinking of you and not to belong to the 2 billion people who are illiterate.

And therefore...

Work as if you don't care for money. Love as if you have never been hurt. Dance as if nobody is watching. Sing as if nobody is listening. Live as if the earth would be paradise.
