Born 1951 in Hückeswagen, Germany. Since 1988 intensive preoccupation with painting. |

1991-2006 various courses lasting several weeks at the European Academy of Fine Arts in Trier, Germany, with focus on nude drawing, experimental painting and printmaking. |

Since 2006 member of the FJK (Fördergemeinschaft Junger Kunst - Young Art Promotion Society). Lives and works in Remscheid, Germany. |

I have been working with experimental art for many years. I am working on and with different materials: with ready-to-use acrylics, with pure colour pigments, with sand, pulp and putty, with bits and pieces, on paper, canvas and wood. Layers of colour are applied and removed or destroyed.
In my paintings I process my mental images, subjective experiences, memories, moods, with each fantasy having a hidden link to reality. I try to be abstract and to convey my feelings and thoughts.
However, I want the observers to be able to develop their own ideas about my work. I would like them to enjoy my paintings, and maybe they will be moved to think, smile or even dream.
