 Beer's House Bungalows is situated on the upper part of Lamai Beach in a very quiet area. To get there just ask samlor-taxi to drop you at Beer's House Bungalows or at Lamai Resort, which is about 50 m before when coming from Nathon pier. Beer's House has 5 bungalows direct on the beachfront and 6 more behind. Each bungalow has a double bed inside with mosquito net, ventilator, closet and a separate bathroom with toilette and warm/cold shower. High season price (middle Dec. - middle Jan.) per night is about 700 Baht beachfront, 600 Baht behind, low season prices are 500/400 Baht. (At present - Feb. 09 - 1 Euro is 46 Baht, 1 Dollar US is 33 Baht.) Low budget travellers can also rent private rooms (4) located behind the bungalows with collective toilette and shower use. Price per room with double bed is 250-300 Baht. 
Beer's House has a nice restaurant with big terrace and offers Thai food as well as European food, snacks and breakfast for reasonable prices. Yamaha Mio automatic motorcycles can be rented for 150 Baht a day.
To get to the downtown Lamai scene is a romantic 10 minutes walk along the beach.Opposite the main street passing Beer's Bungalows a Guesthouse has been built now, offering 14 comfortable rooms with single or double beds, toilette and warm/cold shower, balcony, fridge, TV and airconditioning inside. Prices depend on the season and differ between 1,200 - 1,500 Baht. per night incl. American Breakfast, served at the Beach Bungalows Restaurant. For long term rentals special discounts will be granted. |
